ERUDIRE n.o.
For two decades, Erudire, n. o. has combined social care, culture, education, and regional development in the Šariš region — from supporting families to cultural events and projects co-funded by the EU.
The organization's name comes from the Latin verb erudire — "to lead out of roughness," to cultivate, to educate. Erudire, n. o. was established on 1 March 2005 in Bardejov as a non-profit organization providing generally beneficial services, working across four areas: social care, culture, education, and regional development. The organization is led by director Jozef Harničár.
Courses, workshops, and events designed to be open to everyone — from schoolchildren to seniors.
Our programs draw on the history and craft traditions of Bardejov, a UNESCO World Heritage town.
Since 2005 we have built partnerships with schools, libraries, and community centers across the Šariš region.
Under the founding deed and statute, the organization's work spans four generally beneficial areas — from direct support for families to projects funded by the EU.
Providing social assistance and humanitarian care, including support for single parents under § 27 of Act No. 195/1998 Coll.
Creating, developing, protecting, restoring, and presenting spiritual and cultural values — organizing social and cultural events, seminars and conferences, and providing space for young painters and other talents.
Research, development, scientific-technical, and information services — computer and PC skills courses, market and public opinion research, and data processing.
Developing and running advisory and educational projects co-funded by EU funds and the state budget, aimed at reducing unemployment, poverty, and social exclusion among at-risk groups.
Key moments since the organization's founding.
The founder issues the founding deed and statute of Erudire, n. o., based on Komenského Street in Bardejov.
Erudire, n. o. is entered into the register under file no. 107/2005 at the Prešov District Office.
Amendment No. 1 to the statute moves the organization's seat to Nábrežná Street in Bardejov.
Under director Jozef Harničár, Erudire, n. o. continues to pursue its mission across the Šariš region.
